Requirements to be a renter at our facility

  1. Food Handler’s Safety Manager’s Certification.

  2. Business Insurance. We will give you all the details for our requirements with your insurance before you get started.

  3. Tulare Co. Health Department ‘Permit to Operate’ OR ‘Catering Permit’ OR CA State PFR Permit. We will contact the health department to make sure you have met their requirements and have all the permitting required to operate your business legally out of our facility.

  4. Security Deposit. We require a deposit equal to your first month’s rent (dependent upon needed hours). This deposit is fully refundable upon lease expiration as long as you make all of your rent payments and leave nothing in disrepair.

If you have any questions or concerns about any of these requirements, please contact us.

You can also use our checklist below that has all the resources you need to guide you through how to start a new food business in Tulare County, and obtain many of the requirements listed above.
